This was a commission from Rick. He said "I want to commission you to do a work." I said, "What do you want it of?" He said "I want something original from you, in your style, in your colors. That's all." So, knowing that his son performs on Broadway, and that his wife and he love NYC, I did this of Times Square.

Four years after I completed this, I was invited to show a painting on an electronic billboard at Times Square.  I was able to attend the event with a friend of mine.  Ironically, while I was standing in the crowd, I looked to my left, and Rick and his wife were there, fresh in from Cincinnati, Ohio.
