I was asked to create a painting for the "Wax Nostalgic 1994" exhibition at BLDG in Covington. My thoughts immediately turned to Kurt Cobain, a favorite of mine and an icon from the grunge era who took his life in 1994. This painting is based on his last tour when he asked his favorite band, the Buzzcocks, to open for Nirvana at several shows. Kalin now owns this painting.
